"NYC21" is a motion graphics movie created from still
photos made by Michal Daniel with the Eyemodule2 camera, exploiting
its rough look and minimal resolution of 0.3 megapixels.
Michal Daniel -- a professional photographer specializing in theatre and
live performance -- chose this unique tool for candid street photography,
creating a diary of "snaps" (snapshots) for the site,
www.640x480.net
Inspired by the rich and intriguing images, I incorportated some
of Michal's visual themes together with a certain kind of digital
torture that only Adobe's "After Effects" motion graphics software
can provide.
Other questions about the movie itself and the role of After Effects
in making it can be sent to Bill at magneticdiary.com
